One Year Since Our Wedding Day

One Year Since Our Wedding Day

  English      Română

Today we are celebrating one year since we had our wedding. Technically speaking we have had part of 2 weddings and 3 parties during our existence together, based in 2 countries.

We just realised that we’ve never posted any article with photos or videos from the party that we had last year (2017) on September 16th, therefore today we want to share with you some of our memories.

In this post we thought that might be proper to write also about the people that we have collaborated with, if someone is interested in how to organise a wedding with almost 400 guests. During our organisational process, we’ve been so lucky to meet a lot of nice people that helped us in organising the wedding in more or less only one week (I wrote a post about this process, when things were still hot).

Before the big wedding I made some research about how to organise such an important event and I found some articles that were talking about how you should NOT invite your families’ friends since you have seen them only once or twice when you were young. We are more than gladly that we chose to “go big” and we had many people invited to our event. Thus, in this way we had the chance to reconnect with our whole life, since we were very young and surrounded by our parents’ friends, continuing with the beginning of school and our own relationships, and then to teenage and adulthood(ish).

It has really been wonderful! Very tiring (at some point we have experienced how it feels to be on autopilot), but extremely rewarding. We are so happy to see all our guests and we are really thankful for sharing with us their Saturday night. So yes, if someone wants to invite a lot of people at their wedding, there is nothing wrong. Plus, the energy and the entire atmosphere will be worth it.
